I was asked to be the official photographer for Theresa and Dan's big day.Not being a professional wedding photographer I hesitated to do so.It is such a huge responsibility for a photographer....you can't goof it up and get a do over.Anyway I relented and said I would but made no promises as to how good they'd be.I don't have the proper lenses for wedding photography,nor the lighting aids I should have...and the only assistant I had was my very able wife who posed the subjects when posing was appropriate.No 2nd photographer or assistants to hold screens,etc.Of course even with that you take on tremendous pressure knowing you just can't mess it up.This will likely be my last wedding I do other than taking shots as a guest.I fully appreciate why the really good wedding photographers charge what they do....it is a tremendous amount of work both during the day(s) of the event and the work needed after going through images and cropping,fixing....giving them that added touch.
I also put together a nice slideshow to music of their special day...I enjoyed putting that together for them.
I hope I was able to do some justice to the recording of their special day.
