The Reynolds Alberta Museum in Wetaskiwin sponsored this car gathering and show featuring 30 or so of the museum's cars as well as private collector's vehicles.The feature car of this years show is the museum's 1918 Winton Six Model 48,restored to it's original condition by the museum's restoration team at a cost of over $1,000,000.Painstaking work but it has to be done right in order for this world reknowned museum to showcase it.Over 450 vehicles were on display around the exterior of the museum according to age,from the late 1800's up to present day.Some are then toured around the track,introduced by the announcer of the show.They all then go on a cruise through Wetaskiwin to the delight of local residents who didn't get a chance to see them at the museum.
The museum staff and many of the hundreds of volunteers of the museum dress up in period costume adding to the authenticity and adding color to the show.
