After spending the entire day driving round Glen Coe, Glen Etive and Rannoch moor with Ian Cameron in the rain, we gave up to return to base. As we came into the glen to decend to sea level, we both gasped in amazement as the edge of the weather front was visible. Luckily Ian had excellent location knowledge and he stopped at this stream within 2 minutes. We both used GND filters to balance the sky. The Canon 5D's low noise and high dynamic range sensor really paid off in such tricky lighting conditions, resulting in shadow detail being retained.
