Castlewood Canyon

Castlewood Canyon State Park is located near Franktown, Co. The park contains many excellent hiking trails, but is a challenge to photograph since one side of the canyon is usually in shadow.

nicely done, ryan. i sure can relate to the contrast dilemnas of shooting in shadowed canyons. full shadows or bright overcasts are the best; you've done a great job here controlling your exposures and capturing the beauty of this spot. more?
