It happens all the time around here. Birds will fly into the door or window pane.
If I hear the hit, I always run to the porch and look around for the feathered body.
Most of the time the crash victim will bounce and then fly off. But this guy(?) must
have hit harder than the rest. It took almost an hour for him to gather enough
strength and composure to fly off to join his friends.
