TGV at high speed

Tuesday 13.02.2007:
Before I leave my office I absolutely want to make my shot of the day. Promise is promise.
I cannot think of anything else but the trains: they`re just outside the window!
I made many static shots of the waggons before but they never realy worked. So I decide to pull the camera this time (a little 2 MP Cannon A60) with the trains. Several shot are made, none of them are satisfying. It takes a while before I find the right movement and shutter speed. But I`m lucky: by the time I get things right there`s a TGV coming! Clik!! Job done for today. And I`m quite satisfied with the result. You to?

Yes, quite thrilled with it...It does convey the power and speed feeling one associates to the TGV. Sound picture.

Yes I like it! The abstraction brought by the slightly diagonal lines made it. I also like the contrast between the fine pattern above and bold lines below. I am a fan of this technique as well. GMV on this one!
