A tame turkey with a particular affection for Hank, I hear! This turkey hangs around a popular local conservation area and struts along the trails, gobble-gobble-gobbling and accepting handouts of bird feed from people. Somehow he managed to find not just one but two females at this urban conservation area, an unlikely spot to find a turkey, I would have thought, being bordered by residential and commercial development on one side and the river on the other side, but this was not the first time I had seen a turkey there. The last time was 10 years ago, but he didn't seem as lucky as this guy with his two females!
