The clouds on this day were very pretty, almost like an ornamental ceiling in a grand room. I love looking up at the sky like this. I took this photo while I was walking along the shoreline of a park I visit often, the same park with the mudflats I was visiting earlier in the month. All the rain we've had lately has caused the water level along the river to rise enough to flood out all the mudflats, so now my walks are on the paved paths in the park. The path I was on when I took this photo eventually circles the sailing club shown at the bottom of the frame and dead ends at the lighthouse. A wonderful walk, good for exercise and lifting the spirits with all the scenery, ducks, geese, rascally squirrels, and on some days the cutest Basset Hound in town!
