Does the Crissal Thrasher, make a "whippet" sound? Been watching for two days (what we thought was called a whippet)a mother and her babies, as she works with them to get them to teach them to survive and fly. Amazing site to watch. We don't think they were acutally ready to leave the nest, but did and she has been working with them, on ground.
