Gold Rush Cabin

108 Mile House, BC

This cabin is located at "108 Mile House" located along the old Cariboo Road. The Cariboo Road was
built by blasting through the Fraser Canyon to reach the gold fields in Barkerville. The entire
route covers 642 kilometres (400 mi.). Along the Cariboo Wagon Road many "Mile Houses" were built
along the route. All the "Mile Houses" were named by how far they were located from the community
of Lillooet including 108 Mile Ranch (108 Miles from Lillooet).
