Beautiful Young Dancers

Rebecca Crawford is a very gifted dancer and also a great teacher! I attended 2 classes to watch and record the process. All of the beautiful "grown-up" dancers you see in my
galleries took class just like this when they were young....and they continue taking class 5 days a week until they retire from dance.
Classes are 90 minutes and begin with stretching, then there is work at the barre and finally they take to the floor.

I like your black and white presentation. When fully developed comes color. Hmmmmmmm? Me, I think always will be a maze of sepia.

The care and attention that the beautiful Teacher gives to each student is wonderful to see. Each little dancer's face shows their desire to 'get' what the instruction is; all expressed in nuanced different ways. Isn't it interesting how you can spot potential greatness when the subjects so young. Great shots!! Bet you've got millions of images in archives. I'm so grateful to you for so many meaningful excellent shots. Meaningful means the photography that fills a person with deep emotion because it is so incredible! Hi Richard I think I almost like this the best of your dance galleries...of course not that I don't like the others (they are great) but this one shows the determination, the dreams, the hopes , the grace and the work it must take. And photographed beautifully...you've sort of captured the roots or the soul of the whole thing here, the dedication this art form takes...(it's kind of a unique art form too...in the physical endurance and skill it takes...along with the mental) in a very insightful and realistic way.
