Common Green Darner (Anax junius)

Probably the most common and familiar of all darners. Interesting in its strong migratory tendencies. Large size and solid green thorax are keys for ID. Probably not easily confused but compare with smaller snaketails and female Eastern Pondhawk (Erythemis simplicicollis).
