I was taking a short walk just across from my hotel in Berkley, CA where I had been attending a conference. I thought there wouldn't be much to photo except for a few gulls. Then, I saw this Great Blue Heron, a block away from the water, walking up a grassy knoll. He didn't seem to be too bothered by me.... I soon found out what he was focusing on!
