On the night of Saturday the 9th, just as we were winding up a youth group meeting at our home, Oscar started having real difficulty breathing with a really raspy little cough. We were understandably pretty freaked out so we took him to a local emergency clinic with the help of Pepe, one of our friends and dad of two of our youth. He had laryngitis, severe enough to threaten closing his airways. He was given oxygen, seen here holding his obligitory rubber glove rooster, an injection and sent home to recover, which he did over the next week.
