I actually found that to my naive eyes, practically every schooner looked like the Bluenose.

Just two brief comments on this photo.
First off,I do not think this is the 'Bluenose' as you indicate.The 'Bluenose' sank in Haiti years ago. You meant to say it was the 'Bluenose II", but that would be incorrect as well. It is actually the 'Highlander Sea', a schooner similar to the 'Bluenose II' and is owned by Fred Smithers of Secunda Marine Services in Halifax. It was always getting confused with 'Bluenose II' when it was in the harbour. A quick way to tell them apart was that 'Bluenose II'had a Crows Nest on the tallest spar.This confusion is now over since the 'Highlander Sea'will now be based in Port Huron, Michigan.
