A real conservation success story Ospreys are now thriving in Scotland & it is possible to observe & photograph these birds at the nest at a number of protected sites. Understandably close approach is not feasible & so such images will always be of poor quality.
My images of Osprey at the nest are all from the Scottish Wildlife Trust hides at Loch of the Lowes using a 500mm IS lens + 2x (& occasionally stacked 1.4x & 2x) teleconverters on a beanbag.
