The Northern White Rhino is almost extinct with only 6 animals surviving (4 of which are in Ol Pejeta Conservancy in Kenya).
Southern White Rhinos are faring much better and have been introduced into a number of Kenyan National Parks where poaching is not an issue (eg Nairobi NP and Lake Nakuru NP).
