Behind the Badala Park Hotel is a large deep permanent pool covered in water lilies which supports a good range of birds including waders, White-faced Whistling Ducks, African Jacanas, various Egret apecies, Sacred Ibis, African Spoonbill and Greater Painted Snipe (not always easy to see!!).
