NS 35Q stretched out at Teel on May 27, 2006. I had spent most of the day shooting CSX and NS in and around the Charlottesville area. After this shot I received a phone call that NS 212 was coming north with a quartet of B32-8's for power. Knowing that no more westbounds were coming on CSX, and the known southbound trains on NS had GE widecab leaders, I decided to pack up and head for Hurt to intercept 212 before sunset.
