I don't like the automatic thing
where you press the gas and the harder you press the gas the faster you go
just like a car
because, my lawn is not completely smooth (I live in the country)
and every time you hit a bump your foot moves some and it speeds you up or slows you down so it makes me feel like I'm jumping from fast to slow all the time
it does have a cruise type control you can adjust
but then you have to change that to slow down to go around a tree or a bush
that is the only thing I don't like about it
but if you have a perfect level yard
then I'm sure it will be great

Rachel, now that you've had the mower for about three mowing seasons, do you recommend this model? I have a bit more than a half acre yard and am considering buying a rider - just not sure which make and model.

nope, my husband bought that for my birthday
actually I don't like John Deere (green not my favorite color)
but what can I say about a gift.
not sure what happened to normal birthday gifts, last year I got a tree.
