Mainly shot in the Torres del Paine National Park, Puerto Natales and the city of Punta Arenas in the Chilean Patagonia in March of 2005.

Llevo un rato largo con la boca abierta. Las fotos de los glaciares y de los icebergs, la de la vieja barca en Puerto Natales, o el fotón del Cerro San Valentín me han encantado. Desde luego los paisajes valen la pena, y has hecho un gran trabajo. Por supuesto, voto.

Wonderful images. You have a very good eye for composition and colour. Suggest you increase the size of the thumbnails, so visitors get a better first impression of the quality of your photography :-)

Excelente Galería Pablo! He visto pocos paisajes comparables a los de Patagonia, tuve la ocasión de ir allí hace ya diez años, y los has reflejado a la perfección. Además de ello las fotos son magníficas, me transmiten la misma sensación grandiosa y solitaria que experimenté allí. Enhorabuena y, por supuesto, tienes mi voto.

I loved using the 20D on this trip. Being able to check for exposure in sometimes challenging conditions was great. I had also purchased a Canon 10-22mmm lens before my trip and this was invaluable in capturing some of the landscapes below. The lens also has really nice color range -- in many of the shots, it almost looks like I used a polarizer (which I didn't) - really deep blue skies which often don't seem to show up in shots with digital cameras because of the more limited dynamic range (realtive to film).

One word of warning speficic to using D-SLRs in these conditions, I changed lenses many times in windy and/or misty conditions and as a result on my return, especially when shooting macro photos, I realized that I had all sorts of dust and a couple of moist spots on the sensor that weren't there before. No worse for the wear after a good cleaning, but still something to watch out for.

Wonderful shots, this really makes me want to visit this amazing place. Did you find it challenging to use the 20D in this region Pablo?- I take it you were trekking a good deal. Great work.
