My humble attempts at flower photography, some taken with my old Minolta Dynax 500si while the newer ones with a Canon EOS 300D. Never owned a macro lens (yet) so these were taken with close-up filters.

flower photo need to be sharp,yes u need a micro lens.maybe try the 105mm.and dont forget the tripod.more shooting to come.keep up the good job.
