In late October 2004, I had the opportunity to visit this breathtaking formation on the Utah Arizona border. The formation, called the wave, is actually quite small (about the size of a house) and requires a three mile hike across sand and slick rock. The image was captured on Ilford FP4 using a Wista 4x5 and a 152mm lens with a red filter. This image is a scan of an 8x10 print.
