Great Horned Owl

By the Lake Park .. Wetaskiwin, Alberta

Durning my walk around the By the Lake Park you could hear the hoo-hoo-hoo back in the bush. Took my time, there were about three in the area calling back and forth..This photo was taken in the dark forest just before sunset. I boosted up my settings and was able to get a few shots. Thanks to a good lense and photoshop cs3 made a great difference. I had about 10 minutes to shoot. Another beautiful evening for a walk...

Very nice shot. I know what you mean about shooting in low light and a good lens goes a long way. Again very nice image.
