The fight of fights, this went on over over 10 minutes and it gets pretty ugly...I have seen some come out with broken wings and legs... After the fight they seem to gain respect for one another. The two fighting have nest about 35 yard from each other... During the spring the water flood the area... it takes about two weeks to go down... there are about 6 nesting platform on the island which is about 100 yards from shore... this shot was taken about 150 yard away...
