The most important thing when taking photos is focus on what is of importance... In most cases focusing on the eyes or heads of subjects, the rest can be out of focus a little. in this case it is out of focus a little which makes a big difference, not good.. When you take flying shot you manually focus on the distance and hope for the best... Your eyes are drawn to this when you look at a photo.. other wise in landscapes you choose what you want and go from there.
