Dry Island Buffalo Jump

The Red Deer river runs through the Dry Island Buffalo Jump Park... there is a place to launch your canoe or boat. A lot of people put their canoes in 10 miles north of Dry Island off the Tolman bridge park and drift to Dry Island... In August there is a big run of goldeyes and well as 21 other species of fish.. One of the best rives in Alberta to fish.. The water is clear at this time of the year and the currant is not strong... good for swimming if you can stand the cold... Great place for fall shots...
