An accused murderer shows the jury a lead boot that he must wear in court due to his martial arts abilities. It was very chilling to hear the grisly testimony and see the defendant in person.

What's called "demonstrative evidence" , I believe, though I can't imagine its relevance in a murder trial. Perhaps its overreaching, but one can almost see the incredulity in the jurors' faces. Certainly a picture worth a thousand words, ten-fold. BV
