1st October 2009

Friends, I have a certain reputation where sheep are concerned. A reputation that is completely undeserved I might add!
Here you see me demonstrating my unconcern towards sheep. And theirs towards me!
What do you mean, you know I'll want to have a CHASE when I get a bit closer? Chase? What's that? ;-)

Dad: I've set up a test gallery on Smugmug - not much there yet, but am getting fed up with Pbase so
thought I'd try it out. http://poochdad.smugmug.com/ Would be interested to know who else is doing the same. :-)

Canon EOS 40D ,Canon EF 28mm f/1.8 USM
1/500s f/4.5 at 28.0mm iso100 full exif

other sizes: small medium original auto

That must have been some smell you were catching, to ignore those sheep :-)

Pooch!!!!! It's good to see you back as well after Pbase's problems in recent days.

I'm a Smugger too <http://laine.smugmug.com/...I'm using it as a way to keep contact with the refugees moving there. Very nice, easy to use & management appear to be listening but I do & always have loved the sense of community here & no plans to leave at this point.

I have to agree with Coleen, I think its the sheep poo you're waiting to have a roll in when Dad blinks his eyes!!!

Strange to see Pooch not interested in making new friends.

Well sniffalot I am staying with pbase, even the best of websites have the odd problem.

Seems like half of Pbase is now on smugmug, I hope their server doesn't get overloaded.......

Pooch, I can´t believe you would chase sheep. How dare people think that.
And sheep just love Bonnie, they might think of her as one of the pack ( due to her white poodleness ;O) ) And Bonnie never chase sheep, she might think they´re big dirty poodles or something.

I have a brand new SmugMug account too.

I have to show my project pics for who it concerns somewhere and PBase not working for a week is unacceptable.
But I don´t leave PBase at the moment, there´s 16 months left on my account, but I need a backup place. PBase is much easier to handle there´s lot of links to my pics all around the net and I have my favourite photographers here so I dont want to leave for now. But if it acts up like last week again...

Great nonchalant look, Pooch!

Pooch always maintains that he is innocent. I'm suspicious...
FYI, I am agreeing with Coleen here. I have work on several sites and PBASE gets more hits, more exposure and it is easier to work. I hope we don't lose you...

Me too -http://joanteno.smugmug.com There are number of groups - pbase refugees and give us your daily photo, etc. There is got to be great story here!
Coleen Perilloux Landry01-Oct-2009 15:15
As long as you're not rolling in the sheep poo....
I think I am staying with PBase. I like the format and it's easy to find your way around. Besides, the PBase community is one of the best. I am on two other photo sites, but PBase will always be my first love so to speak. Mostly, for the people I have come in contact with along the way in the past 5 years.

Never mind the sheep, Pooch... follow your nose!
