One of these days I'll actually catch this boat moving across the ice but I doubt it will be any time soon with the warm weather that's predicted for the next week.

Nice image of this ice boat.. I grew up in Norther Michigan and as a kid remember my Dad and Uncles running their boats on the local lakes. They had many races and as I recall did quite well in them.... Out here in Montana we seldom see or even hear of them...
Growing up in Northern Michigan I remember some of the homemade ice boats that sailed on the local lakes. Nice image, I agree with John, a slow shutter image of an ice boat in motion would be a great image...
