KFJC Rules The Wasteland!!!! Somewhere between the years of 1983 and 1984, while growing up in the cellars of San Jose, I stumbled upon radio broadcasts that would forever alter my life. It may sound a little dramatic, but if you've ever heard me talk about music you would doubt no further. KFJC is a commercial-free radio station listened to and operated by 'Black Crack' junkies and tape splicers. It's a creative and lasting tribute to the people who make great music, and a catalyst for those of us who placed groceries second to a trip to down the Import/Independent isle. I've probably bored you all with my accolades for the quality and longevity (45 years!) of this station, so I won't waste your time with further accolades. The point of this gallery is to group together the various live broadcasts of bands and musicians that I've witnessed at my favorite radio station. Whether playing live in the "Pit", mob-casting from the hall or merely chatting in the booth with one of the many fine DJs, this will be a place for the photographs I take of the people who dare to have their art broadcast to the bay area.
