Dr. Know

I got a second chance to see a band that I saw when I was sixteen or seventeen years old. Dude, I feel kinda old. They did not disappoint me, despite their age. I'm pretty certain most of you have never heard the "Plug-in Jesus" LP, or it's bonus 7", "Watch it Burn." It was quite rare. It was also their finest moments in the studio, period. The fact that they played about five or six songs from that release is testamony to their integrity. I even enjoyed the brand new stuff they played. Some things never change. Dr. Know still kicks ass. I'm still old.

that is very cool. i'm a dr know fan from way back. got plug in jesus in england about '90. the uncensored cover. ice house from watch it burn is still one of my favs. into the void from wreckage is the best sabbath cover ever. too bad i'm from the east coast. would love to see dr know again. great to hear that they are still playing, no matter what the line-up, it always worked.

ya brandon cruz is singin again. i saw em play like 4 years ago. brandon also sang for the new dead kennedy thing they had goin' without jello. oh plug in jesus aint that rare. they got stock piles of that stuff in idependent music stores. this island earth is a rare cd. i would luv to find this island earth.

Dude nice pics. Plug in Jesus is CLASSIC stuff. I actually crashed at the bass players house in Oxnard back in the day when I was road tripping all over California shows, they were cool people. I noticed they are a 4 piece now. When Plug in Jesus was out they were a 3 piece set with Kyle (I think that was his name) was playing lead guitar and lead vocals. Has Brandon (Eddie from The Courtship of Eddie's Father) the original singer re-joined the group?
