I saw these three guys with Torche and Kylesa at Burnt Ramen in November of 2005. I wasn't sure what to make of this outfit. It seemed an odd blend of current Hardcore with a touch of Indie. Notice I didn't say Emo. By the end of their set I was pretty convinced that this Louisville outfit had made an impression on me, and I hoped a few others. It takes balls to do something non-formulaic. The 'underground' can be very closed-minded when it comes to alterations in the 'formula'. I hope I'm wrong, but we know I'm not.
