The swazis need to be saluted. They have not let foreign influence to dilute their rich culture. No man's culture is superior to another man's!

I have nothing against these people and their culture if it is voluntary. But to claim it is culture may not entirely be true. What is the origin of this culture? What if it started when one king of the old decided to set up a stage where he could sensually soak in all the nude beauties in the land and marry the best therefrom before any other person got to them. From all I've read so far(I haven't read much though), it is meant to honour the king mother. For goodness sake , she could as well be honoured with clothes on. Don't get me wrong here, I also love all the pictures and most of the natural beauties.

I think it s up to the individual to decide whether they want to embrace the culture or not. At the end of the day, what may seem gross violation to one culture is perfectly accpetable to another. May be the best people to answer those questions are the girls themselves. Are they comfortable with the Reed dance or they feel violated

Much as you are all entitled to your opinions, you must learn to respect others and what is valuable to them. Big up the Swazis for keeping your culture going. Mokiwa,, H.O, in Saudi Arabia.

People need to understand why some cultures are so deeply entrenched...It is the photographers and the media who expose such young innocent girls, don't you think...?

Why expose such an innocent girl? Do these girls go to school? Stop these child abuse in the name of traditions.
