Hello Fred... I just discovered your page here today... I noticed my older sister in this photo, so I should correct the spelling of her name which is Marien (not Marion) Willey... Now for an update about her current situation, unfortunately she has recently (as of Nov./13) become confined to bed with spinal osteomyelitis (plus other ills)... I also very fondly remember Madame St.Onge who was my (Gr.7) teacher 3 years later at Royal School.
Elsewhere in your phase web-page here, I remembered the small store on Elmhurst & Roblin as a bakery where our family often shopped in the 50's.

Thanks all for the updates ... all except one identified.

Fred, If these are the Willey's from Elmhurst Rd., it should be Willey for Marion. Jill Paskewitz

Fred, It's Carolynn , not Caroline. Carolynn is Char. Hist. Society's 2nd VP., and Matt, her brother comes to our fall dinners. Jill Paskewitz

I see you have a question mark on Richard Musgrove. That is Richard and we used to chum around . He lived close to where I lived. Dick Morton and I used to do debate s together in school, mostly about old cars. I'm almost positive that Gail Edwards is correct for the end girl on the right in third row. I can remember all of these people by name except the boy next to me in 4th row. I remember his face but not his name for some reason.

Hi ! Thanks for the photo of my junior high class. One name I found that is incorrect is the name Judy Hall. It should be Joan Hall , my sister. Madame St.Onge is from St.Agathe and taught our grade 7 class and grade 8 . She taught us our beginners French and taught it so well , that I easily became fluent in French later in my life. She was a distant relative of ours as well as her cousins in St.Malo (Maynards).
Thanks again for the info and class picture . I never did get a copy of this.

Thanks Linda ... have amended the photo but with the spellings as I remember them ie was in the same class as Mattie (Caroline's brother) at one time and delivered newspapers to Marion Willie's house at one time ... : )
Also, ... made my day to learn the pix fill a void for you ...
Cheers!

Hi Fred,
The two girls next to Bev are Caroline Dederich and Marion Wiley or Willey. I lost all my pics and am thrilled to see this. Thanks so much.

Thanks Jean ... you validated my recollection also ...
Cheers!

Hey Fred
all I can add (as I am sooo much younger) is that I think Mrs. St. Onge taught grade 7 at Royal School.

Jean
