I started working at the Ranch House in June 1970 when I turned 21 for Margaret Hayes. I remember Eddie was the bartender and Mrs. Hayes had a daughter Clara and another daughter who was a nun. I was there close to a year and I loved it. Met quite a few people from the Gurnet and a few Mass. Politicians, as well as owners of other nightclubs. My Dad, John Dennehy, who owned Humarock Marina had s close friend, Fred Scott, who owned Scott's fish Market, helped get me the job. I remember leaving the Ranch House after 1 am and driving down to Falmouth to meet up with my friends on a Friday and Saturday nite driving my 1967 red Mercury Comet with the roof down. Good times. I think of Mrs. Hayes from time to time and how she took me under her wing. I remember Clara's husband was Dr. Peter Barrett, nice guy. That's it
