Second Chance for Wildlife

(shot April 18th)
This little guy was nesting in a tree in our back yard
until a storm with strong winds knocked it down.
His sibling didn't survive and the mom wasn't anywhere around.
The nice gentleman at Second Chance for Wildlife was able to take him
and was going to put him with two others that he had. They are all around 5 or 6 weeks old.
I was so worried about keeping him warm I didn't get any shots except this one after
I turned him over to Second Chance. I hope he's doing okay. I wanted to raise him,
but with many, many barn cats, two house cats and an active dog...
oh, and don't forget the three horses, I'm in overload. :(

Great shot. What a cute little guy!
My squirrel friend used to take almond nuts from my hands. Unfortunately, someone ran my little friend over on the street. It was a sad day!
