20080225 - New Stuff!

Ma and Pa have been and bought me a pair of tongue thingies for my coal. Hurrah! :-)
They're too big to hang on the thingy that the other stuff hangs on though. Hmmm, will have to think about that...

Yesterday's B&W...

...well, I just fiddle 'til I like it! Though most bits of it were treated separately - the sky is a separate conversion from the RAW file, blended with the foreground with a graduated mask. Then there are two b&w conversions, one for the sky and one for the foreground. Then various curves adjustments - to even up the left and right hand sides of the sky and another to bring the sign forwawrd. Then there's another bit to lighten where the fence disappears into the trees.
Just lots of fettling really :-)
