20090528 - TITTC Relationships

For the TITTC: Relationships

As every good skoolchild should know, Pi(e) is the 'relationship' between the diameter of a circle and its circumference. This happens to be an apple and blackberry pi(e), I don't think the filling is that important, but I'm going to test out other flavours - just to be sure... :o)

Mmmmm Pi(e)!

Right now, I'm having an all-consuming relationship with said pie!! Yum!

On the way home, I had to stop for another piccie....

Pi is Pi...maybe I should shut my Pi hole......

A classic relationship and great image. Does it take into account the fiddly bits around the pi(e)'s edge?

The only thing I know about Pi is...

Pi r round, corn bread r square.

I'm thinking your thinking of eating more than your share! Terrific idea for relationship!

When I saw the challenge this week my first thought was geometry too. However, I never could have topped this funny creative intrepetation so I'm glad I didn't go there. :)

As an old fashioned relationship that works in inches, does it manage to hold up in the new metric world?
Scott Browne29-May-2009 04:03
I give it 3.1415926535 stars!
I'd give it more but I deducted points for you not sharing that delicious sounding pi(e) with me.

What a fab idea. Love it.
Doug Cruden28-May-2009 20:07
lol...brilliant interpretation!! And a brilliantly taken shot...now, have you discovered if the other pi(e)s have the same circumference to radius ratio? Is the gooseberry slightly more or less? The cherry? What about the rhubarb tart....?
Ann...28-May-2009 20:00
LOL.... sooo funny and such a clever idea!!!
