Can't wait Philippine Aviation! BTW, how reliable are Philippine Airlines pilots and flight attendants with information about the reconfiguration. My uncle has friends who are pilots and F/As for PAL so I don't know if I should trust them or not. LOL Thank You again!

Hi PALA340, all 747s will be reconfigured into business class seating but can't say how many seats. PAL's A340s mabuhay class has nicer and thicker seats than the 747s. The window view is much better than that of the 747 upper decks too. Also, the 340s are quieter. Personally I like the biz class of the A340 better - for now. I have no idea when the 340s will be reconfigured. Hope this helps answer your questions.

Hi again PALA340. I still have to scan the menu card. I don't believe any 747s have been reconfigured yet especially during this peak passenger season.

Hello! I have booked a Mabuhay Class ticket to Manila from Los Angeles from Dec 17-Jan 2. Can anyone tell me about how many reconfigured 747s have been completed by then? And what are my possibilities of traveling on one? Thank You!
