Vivitar 2X Macro Focusing Teleconverter on Maxxum 7D

Custom adapted Vivitar Macro Teleconverter allows use of MF Minolta lenses
on the AF Minolta/Sony Cameras.
Designed for normal lenses from 45-58mm.

Vivitar MD 2X teleconverter destructively modified.
MD mount was removed and replaced with a turned down Maxxum T mount adapter.
Focuses from infinity down to 1:1 by action of built-in focusing helicoid.
Coarse adjustment across the full range is possible with the teleconverters
focus ring. When set at compressed position, the lens focus ring operates normally.
Also a highly corrected (for macro) 2X teleconverter. Magnification is twice that of a 50mm lens with the same working distance.

This teleconverter was produced for most Manual focus SLRS so conversion could be made
for example, to use Micro Nikkor lenses on a Minolta AF camera if a Nikon Teleconverter was adapted.
