NEX 5 IR filter
The filter is two layers bonded together. the IR absorbing layer is toward the sensor.
Shot in infrared with a camera converted to infrared (Dimage 7Hi)

I tried the stock NEX-5 for reflected UV and it does alright as is (I have a sample shot on my flickr page). When going for a clear filter, I would have to check the UV transmittance first.

It is very good to know about the Marumi filter! Thanks a bunch!

Just a hint Vivek, the Marumi DHG clear protective filter is just a hair thicker and works fine as a replacement cover. The AR coating appears to help reducing hotspots.
