Paulo, there are so many important elements in this image, but my first impression was the slope that make it more difficult to "stroll" from right to left. These people are doing that in spite of the effort required - certainly the rain doesn't help.
But than I remembered - It's summer on the other half of the world you're in... Hence the people swimming in the sea. So although the picture looks gloomy to the viewer, it's actually deceiving... V
