Berlin Central Station, opened in 2006, is the largest train station in Berlin. Its upper level has 6 tracks, serving the S-Bahn and Regional Express. Its lower level has 8 tracks, serving long distance trains connecting to other European cities. In between are three levels of shops and restaurants.
