Eurasian Treesparrow

Khok Kham, Thailand

Even a common and unsignificant sparrow can be beautiful when captured in good light.
Someone once said: 'sparrows are a sign of God's blessings'.
Here in Thailand they seem to be everywhere and are easily overlooked, much like the way we become familiar with our many daily blessings. When I stop to watch the little sparrows how they play and feed, my spirit slows down and I feel a lot better.
I have been in places where there were no sparrows around and I must say those places seemed dead and uninspiring.

Lovely capture and I too love sparrows and it's often a shame that people see a dull looking sparrow just as a bird. I feed all the garden birds and people will comment and say they would too but they are not going to buy bird food just to feed the sparrows and starlings. That's what I thought three years and now I feed the sparrow along with up to 20 other different species that visit my town, suburban garden. I especially like your own comment regarding these birds. Kind regards, Pete
