An amazing creature indeed. Master of hiding in the interior of the forest floor.
People come from far and near to see this bird. In the dry season a number of birds are attracted
to the wet forest floor at the back of some washing facilities by the campground in Khao Yai National Park. There are some birds that are easily seen there such as Orange-headed Thrush, Siberian Blue Robin and White-rumped Shama. This bird is more irruptive in behavior and one has to have a lot of patience for a short visit by the King itself. I put myself in a blind and waited.
This was my reward.
