Melanerpes uropygialis. It is a shame that I was not able to get a shot with better clarity because this is such a great pose. Unfortunately, these Woodpeckers are very shy and I haven't been able to get a clear shot of them. This shot was taken through two dirty windows from inside of our house. I went outside to try to get a clear shot but, sure enough, it flew away as soon as it saw me. :(
