Male Costa's Hummingbird

Calypte costae. This is my first attempt to capture a hummingbird "in the wild". Looks like this little guy has a couple of cactus spines in his gorget (neck/throat area).

Beautiful shot! Hope you'll take more. Love his little feet curled up. I bet those cactus spines hurt. Hope he can remove them somehow.
