Bisti Badlands Crystal Ball

Bisti/De-Na-Zin Wilderness, New Mexico view map

A bit of creative license in presenting one of the views of the hoodoos at Bisti.
I flipped the image to give the proper perspective in the crystal ball. This was
taken using a 3 inch (80 mm) crystal ball, rather than the usual 5 inch (130 mm)
crystal ball because I was trying to keep from packing too much weight. Even so,
I still carried way too much in my backpack for this particular odyssey around the badlands.

awesome...the crystal ball seems almost like a raindrop, yet is obviously a more sophisticated entity...

That is so cool, Sam. Flipping the image like this makes the crystal look like a suspended drop of water. V
