Damp Canadians

Arches National Park, UT

Glenn, David, and I got caught in a bit of a downpour and sought refuge under
a juniper tree. We all discovered that a juniper tree does not provide the greatest
of shields from the rain. Not surprisingly, David (a veteran of this type of weather)
looks downright cheery, whilst Glenn and I are less-than-thrilled.

I wondered if the bad weather I was driving through on the way home that day hit you guys too. At points I was even in snow. Excellent story telling capture, Sam. ~V~

Sam, Glenn doesn't learn very well. Ask him about our trip to WY, SD & MT, one May. I thought surely that I taught him better than this? LOL. Well done. V.

What? A desert man not liking the rain? I don't believe it.

LOL at you guys :-)

A downpour is right, judging by the water pouring down the rockface!
Fun capture Sam. Well, fun for us :-)

What a difference in poses a camera bag can make. Nice to have both parties comment on this as well. Well done Sam! :)

Not one of my better poses - lesson learned.

if only it has been a maple...those junipers provide sparse cover...we were drenched, suddenly caught out on the way to Landscape Arch...a truly memorable incident, and so resolutely portrayed....bravo Sam for braving the conditions......V

Rain gear is part of the Vancouverite essentials, I am surprise he did not whip out a fold up umbrella and continue photography:-) Neat shot Sam and the juniper is a bit sparse for cover...

David does look rather cheery! That tree looks like it is growing right out of the rock. Fun shot!
